Im fairly certain that big league chew came out in the 80's... A somewhat misguided product made of shreded gum made to simulate tobacco chew that major league baseball players were imfamous for spitting. Genius.

I used to stuff the whole bag in my mouth. The sweetness was orgasmic.
Great gum. I remember buying this when I was younger. It's still at some of the stores today.
That stuff WAS sweet whew....I remember when they broke bad and made grape....Im gonna go get me a bag tomorrow!

I wouldn't consider this product misguided. It was pitched as a non-cancer causing alternative to chewing tobacco, which we abused a lot when I was a kid. Sure, it rots your teeth but teeth can be fixed. Cancer, however, is a much more serious condition.
I failed to mention the best thing about this product in my last comment. I now remember that the package said, "MAN SIZE WADS" on it, and that made my Aunt laugh hysterically. I was a kid then and it took me several years to get the joke.
I swear they had a Dr. Pepper flavor for a while and nobody believes me. I only remember this because I nearly choked on a huge piece of it back in elementary school.
yeah I remember this gum me and my sister were talking about it the other day, they still sale it at the dollar store and mabe CVS, I loved grape also and I think I do remember dr. pepper but it didn't last long
I liked the grape, chewing the whole pouch at once kinda made my teeth hurt though.

This stuff was AWESOME! I remember this now. The grape was epic.
Mmmmm GRAPE!!! I remember sometimes not chewing it fast enough and because of all the salivating I would swallow some of it! Hahaha
Big League Chew is awesome. I still buy a pouch of it once in a while at the local drug store or grocery store.
My favorite was grape and I can't find it anymore. As kids we would walk around with it in our bottom lip thinking we were the s***. LOL Those were good times
You can get Big League Chew at Bulk Barns in Canada. Grape, original and sour apple.
I found big league chew at a CVS pharmacy in massachusetts. Also found Caramello chocolate bar.
I used to get BLC quite often as a kid. I sure enjoyed a big wad of that stuff!
A Spencers Gifts near me had this in New Jersey in the check out lane, not many bags though.
Strawberry was my favorite flavor of Big League Chew.

It's cool how as 11 year old baseball players we could pretend to be "dipping" just like the big leaguers! And, it was just good gun. We'd keep it in our back baseball pants pockets just like the ballplayers from the 70s&80s.
Would put almost the whole pack in my mouth when playing baseball. Made me feel like a major leaguer. The grape one was delish.
