Comments left:	I remember the first time I found out about Pound Puppies. I was at my grandfather's house in Indiana, when a commercial for the toys came on TV. I got excited. I was crazy for stuffed dogs at that time. I really wanted a Pound Puppy! I finally got one a few months later. A grey Bulldog. I loved that dog. I even wrote a story about him for a contest in a stuffed animal magazine I used to get. You were supposed to write a story about an adventure you and your Pound Puppy had had. The prize was a bunch of Pound Puppy merchandise. My tale involved me and my Pound Puppy walking in the woods, where we encountered Bigfoot. Of course my Pound Puppy chased him off before he could attack. Unfortunately I didn't win. I had a bunch of Pound Puppy stuff as well. A lunchbox, colorforms, an electric toothbrush. And I never missed the cartoon. Pound Puppies are one of my favorite 80s toys.
