I used to love the MCDLT, but I always thought it would be better to put the cheese on the hot side so it would be nice and melty. I requested it this way at my local McDonalds and they refused to make it. The General Manager said McD's corporate wouldn't allow them to alter the way the sandwich was made at it. That was a bummer, and I told them that Burger King would let me have it my way. Oh well, that same McDonalds will now make my new fave which is a double Quarter Pounder dressed like a Big Mac. Now that's a good burger!
