Back in the mid '70s I would go down to my grandparents farm in northeastern Kentucky. Nothing to do but play with the horses & dogs and to fish all day. After a hot summer afternoon at the farm pond fishing, my cousins and I would walk to the little 'Mom & Pop' store (named "Peco's") next door to the farm and each buy a bottle of Tiger Red. No plastic bottles then or twist-off caps. Just the cold, heavy glass bottle of refreshing Tiger Red in your hand. When you finished you always wished there was just a little bit more. We'd stash the bottles in a bush on the farm so the next time we went to Peco's we could each pick up one of the bottles and turn it in at the store for a 5 cent discount (deposit refund) on our next Tiger Red. I would easily pay $50 for a bottle now, just to take me back to 'the day' for a few blissful minutes.
