I grew up in KY, too, but left in 1970 and never saw Tiger Red again. In the mid to late 60s, we'd ride our bikes down to the Key Market, and buy single bottles (in glass) on those swampy summer days. I went off it for a while after my older brother told me it would put hair on my chest ;-) but that didn't last long when no chest hair materialized! I still remember the little "bite" that followed a big swig. Good stuff.
