Comments left:	WE WOULD MODIFY OUR STOMPERS IN THE MID 80S USING PARTS THAT WE BOUGHT OFF OF AN OLD GUY WHO AT THE TIME STILL HAD A HOBBY SHOP.THE SHOP WAS PROBABLY 30 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME AND HE HAD PILES OF BOXES THAT WERE FULL OF BRAND NEW SLOT CAR PARTS.AGAIN MOST OF THOSE PARTS DATING BACK TO THE SIXTIES. THE KICKER WAS EVEN THOUGH SLOT CARS HAD GONE OUT YEARS BEFORE HE WOULD ONLY ALLOW US TO BUY OUT OF ONE BOX AT A TIME. WE HAD A FIELD DAY WITH THESE PARTS.WE WOULD RUN HAIRDRYER MOTORS WITH VARIABLE SPEED TYCO TRAIN CONTROLLERS.WHAT A BLAST.WE ALSO WERE IN HIGH SCOOL AT THE TIME.MY SON IS EIGHT AND HE LIKES TO LOOK AT THEM AND ASK A MILLION QUESTIONS ABOUT THEM. AND IT MAKES MY SMILE JUST THINKING ABOUT RUNNING THOSE TRUCKS BACK THEN.!!!
