I got a Little Professor from Santa when I was a little girl over 30 years ago. I remember playing with it a lot, and I am very good/fast at basic math facts, was always good at math in school. The calculator was saved in my mom's attic for years. I rescued it and have kept it in my home for the past 8 years or so. I have two daughters and decided they were old enough to play with it and get just as good at math facts as their mommy just a few days ago. We put a new battery in it and it worked perfectly. My oldest daughter took it to school today and it got broke. It was an accident, but it hurts anyway. I got on line to see if I could find another one, but apparently I can't. Why could't the company put out some retro products? People obviously buy them, and I think retro toys have really become popular again, thanks to movies like The Santa Clause II, etc. Toys like that really helped kids learn. It is a good memory for me.
