Agreed, the best toy ever. When the Star Wars line started to die out in 1983-4 I began buying GI JOE's. I started collecting these again a few years back and now am the proud owner of every figure from 1982 through 1987 plus a few others I just thought were cool. I have the orginal base and a slew of vehicles and play sets now all I need to do is wait for my 9 month old son to get a few years older so I have a excuse to play =). I have also purchased the full cartoon series, watching the cartoon really brings back some memories.
