i remember those shorts too. i also was a lifeguard and practicly lived in them in and out of work. they were so comfortable i agree, i even wore them as underwear under my jeans. my first boyfriend loved them and he use to call them "fast access shorts". Meaning i could wear them out in public, yet when we go make out he could just pull them to the side and go to town without me getting undressed! LOL
