I was eight. A tomboy. When I saw that green machine for the first time I KNEW I wanted it. Most toys didn't live up to their claims. But, boy, this one DID! Just like so many of you who have so many memories of this very 'special' toy, I too, have many great memories of going up and down my circle driveway and spinning out on it. The control, the fun, the cool looking green and black, from the eyes of an eight year old. Man, you could really get going there, too! Just me, the Green Machine and God. I had much business to do with my Green Machine, on a regular basis. It showed me something about myself, at that age. How a created cycle- could change my perception of things around me. I grew on that Green Machine. We moved from that New Orleans, La home that we had built, and the Green Machine was outgrown...but not the memories, the fun, or the lessons it taught me about myself. Every time I think about a Green Machine, I get a big smile on my face and a special one in my heart. It was mine, ..or all of ours, here on this post board, and it was the best of childhood memories.
