Honestly, saying that they all cut themselves is a generalisation, and just glorifies the trend even more. I'm sure alot of us alternatives went through a whiny 'I cut myself because it's how I deal with it' phase! I know I did as a teenager, I just kept it hidden, opposed to doing to show my friends the 'cool' scars. Not that I'm saying I like Emos, I just tolerate them. Besides, I think it's 'Scene' that's in fashion now, right?
