Hi there, I used to own a long rider as a kid, for some reason i found other skateboards hard to manouveur, but the long rider was awesome. I now have a little girl of my own who has the same problem and i would love to get her a long rider to solve this problem, and also because they are awesome, and truth be told i want to run amok on it too, ah memories. If you still have your long rider for sale, please let me know. If not then at least i have a picture of them now. Thanks heaps, Amy from Australia

Does any one know how much a long rider skate board would be? or how much they would sell on e-bay.

I am the proud owner of one of these! Mine is red with yellow "longrider" writing, although I have seen both black and blue versions as well (red seems to be the most common colour). I had 3 of them at one stage and have seen more than this around as well. After riding one some years ago, I told people to look out for one for me. And lo, on my 18th birthday by friend gave one to me! Since then I have taken it with me everywhere...even overseas! Its always a talking point...people always come up and ask me where to get this cool new board. The look on their faces when I tell them its over 20 years old (made in 1983 by Marchon Inc) is classic. I have also made some T-shirts featuring the longrider logo. I might be a little obsessed! I'm soon going to the US and will be sure to take it with me again. The slogan for this board embossed on the underside of the handle is Longrider: Ride On.

What did they sell for on Ebay?

Hey guys, i've done some reaserch on these for a while and what I have seen them go for is anywhere from 70-150 dollars. I've been lucky enough to be able to buy one from a guy on craigslist so if you get the time check your local area for one. There a classic and rare board, the only way to find one is someone whp os a collector or saved it from there childhood but if thats the case, they would probubly want more then what its worth. Hope this helps!
