My youngest daughter, now 22, had all the smooshies and their habitat. She loved them. I've looked in the stores lately, on a whim, thinking maybe they are still out there but haven't seen any. They were so cute! Anyone know where they can be found?

I had the cottage, with the girl, and a car. And the car had a secret compartment in the trunk!! I also had the mouse that came with a hollow piece of cheese. Toys these days really don't compare to what we had back in the 80s!!!

MY daughter is selling a bread sized bag full of them......I guess at 15 they have no interest in them anymore.....They were passed down to her from her older brother.

Hahaha Teresa, I BOUGHT that bag from you last night! I spend all night playing with them (I'm not ashamed to say I'm 24!!) Totally made my night! I'm going to wash them up and save them for my daughters when they get a bit older (they are only babies right now)

Those things were the coolest. i had the rabbit, bird, fish boy and girl and a bunch of accessories. Someone tell me where you can find them. Maybe we should petition Fisher Price to make them again.

Loved the theme song, to the tune of "At the Hop." "Everybody smoosh (your smooshies). Trade your smooshies with a friend, the fun will never end, when you stop, pop, pop...SMOOSH!

Smooshies and Smooshee Smugglers were launched by Fisher Price in 1984 and sold - but not all that well - till 1995. By '91 they were heavily discounted at most stores to clear and in this time I built up a complete set of Smooshees for my daughter (now 27 and a noted fashion designer!) and some of the USA only marketed Smugglers eventually dumped over Europe to clear. There was a Smooshee monthly comic and yearly Annuals for a while too, which I have several of. They are all in new condition complete with cartons and live in my attic.
