Top Ten Lists of Eighties Movies

The concept is pretty easily, pick your ten favorite movies from the eighties. The hard part? I want JUST movies from the eighties, not movies you might have seen during the eighties. Also, try and avoid movies that came out after the eighties if possible, 1990 is pretty borderline, I won't scream too loudly if you add one that is from then...

    you know Molly had to be on this list. This is my favorite movie from her collection. She's really cool.

    this movie is so cute. Kirstie Alley and John Travolta made a great couple the chemistry is so obvious. And Mikey is hillarious

    Tom Cruise was driving them wild. The gorgeus pilot really rocked the ticket stands with this movie

    This is a classic. Patrick Swazey was phenomenal. And Jennifer Grey will always be remembered as Baby the one nobody puts in a corner.

    You know Madonna ruled the eighties and this movie shot her straight to the top. Roxana Arquette also played a wonderful role.

    Michael J. Fox, the heart throb of the eighties. And the music is awesome. Hewie Lewis still jams with the power of love.

    you know you love this movie. its hillarious! And Tom Hanks looks really good in it. It was probably one of John Candie's funniest roles
  • 2. She's having a baby
    a movie that most of us married couples can relate by now. The ending is so great. All of Kristie's understanding and sacrifices finally paid off.

    The top of the list. This girl can really move. And come on don't tell me that after 10 years you still don't jam to maniac when it comes up on the radio in your car. Wonderful.

    Mel Brooks' silent classic. Great cast, hilarious storyline and brilliant comic performaces from all involved (even Mel himself). Spike Milligan's prison cell scene is possibly the funniest movie scene ever. "That's it! You look like the Piss-Boy"
As an Australian, I am ashamed to say that not a single decent movie came from this country during the eighties (except the Cold Chisel concert movie "Last Stand", and "Galipoli"). The best of a pathetic lot being:The Mad Max Movies, Crocodile Dundee, and Young Einstein.

I love the 80's. it was a silly era, but the music was the best..what with A-ha, Naked Eyes, Oingo Boingo, Nena,and Flock of Seagulls. In the 80's the movie's were much funnier than they try to be now. I loved You Can't Do That On Television. best t.v.show.

    Troma's best film ever!

    Twisted Cult Classic is a must see !

    John Landis great horror comedy is the best werewolf flick I have seen. Certanley better then The Howling!
