The concept is pretty easily, pick your ten favorite movies from the eighties. The hard part? I want JUST movies from the eighties, not movies you might have seen during the eighties. Also, try and avoid movies that came out after the eighties if possible, 1990 is pretty borderline, I won't scream too loudly if you add one that is from then...

I didn't know how to put all of these movies into order.I think all of them should be numer two and The Goonies be number one like it is.:)

Mr T alone made this movie worth seeing more than one time....but does anyone really think Mr T wouldnt pity the fool ?

Teen angst at its best...when Anthony Michael Hall gets with the hottie , made tons of young guys have hope

This movie has it all !!! Comedy , drama and action - and Sloth.....
All of these movies are great 80's movies along with...Revenge of the Nerds, Beaches, Three Men and A Little Baby and Lady, Working Girl, The Breakfast Club, The Last Unicorn, Legend, Indiana Jone's movies, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Sixteen Candles, Splash,etc....
I also enjoyed these movies as well: Indiana Jones series, She's out of Control, Breakfast Club, Empire Strikes Back, Beetlejuice, Real Genius, Baby Boom, Firestarter, Star Trek series(except 5), Commando, Conan, & Ladyhawk(music sucks)

There are thousands of movies I would like to find and watch all over again. As a youth, I only experienced the later part of the eighties. I wish I could experience it all over again.

The best of the trilogy !! Reached quite a climax with Lando turning the tables on Han....Billy Dee had such an underated part in this film...Return of the Jedi was pale in comparison...

While some may say it is just the Rocky of this generation..I agree in some ways.....gave us Wax on Wax off...which people still say today

How did all those kids who had never danced before become such excellant dancers ??? Great movie that combined music to the movie to make it memorable

Even though it is set in an earlier time...its still a great 80s flick....classic ensemble cast of 4 buddies on a road trip with memorable scenes in between of finding the destination

This is what people will remember about the 80s !! the clothes , the slang , the people and hanging out at the mall....Aloha Mr Hand

Maybe not the biggest film people remember...but I thought it was awesome....story of 5 teams running around los angeles figuring out clues on how to reach a final destination....starred Michael J Fox and Flounder from Animal House..and the guy from american werewolf..I think his name is David Naughton

Wonderful film that still holds up today...the lil hints in 1955 at what could happen in 1985 are classic

Amazing movie....great ensemble of characters....between the Goonies and the Fratellis....

It may be because I grew up in Baltimore , but I will always have a place in my heart for this film - it reminds me alot of what my parents told me about growing up in Baltimore...and the wedding with the colts fight song and blue and white balloons is classic

Also a wonderful Brat Pack movie. I enjoyed it very much and hope that many other people did too.

what can I say, The coreys .. get any better? I feel one of the best they ever did, also one one of the best vampire movies..Definatly a coming of age movie

Jason is hard to kill because he is unstop attacking Zombie living machine. And I can't wait to look forward to see Jason v.s Freddy movie.

I like that part of the boy who play role Chuck and with huge sloth man. I think Chuck did funny and eating with group of his friends.

I really like John Candy to do funny and lovely upon with the girl who play role older neice. And also he make a huge Pancake for one his's nephew's Brithday breakfast WOW!. He passed away long ago and I really do like him very much plus I miss him too.

Good view movie I ever image the boy could ride cool sliver space. Make friend to Max who talking robot to controling the boy's mind. Plus great song at the end while riding around the view outside.

Bruce Willis was excellent cop for only one person do all the bad guys down to save entire people by himself.

Aronld did a great job for attacking of huge Alien from outer space who land on earth and try take over the peoples bone collections.

One of the great movie i ever seen of all time.

Harrsion Ford one the best action of the flim and can't wait to see another fourth one.

One is my favorite action and story of making pattern plot of all time. And great Sci-fi fun flim too. The new epoide 1 and 2 are good too.
I wonder what happen to E.T if come back again part 2. and I will looking forward to it to see it part 2 like back to see Elliot who already grown up with his sister role by Drew Barrymore. What about The Goonies 2?. And how about Flight Navigator 2?.

who would dump john cusack? he may be a little obsessed with beth, but ya know, hes a nice guy.

another classic movie with of course, molly ringwald. its just a great story. i like it a lot.

everyone knows the scene when john cusack holds up the boom box. in your eyes is the perfect song for this moment..and when they were in the car.

i absolutely love TOM CRUISE. this is one of his best films ever. i love it when he dances in his underwear. ;)

classic 80s teen movie. everyone loves it. you can learn from this movie. john cusack looked pretty good in this movie too. even though he was a geek.
80s movies are great. even though im 15, i think that these were the best movies made. people just dont appreciate the movies or the music of the 80s. also mentioning : steel magnolias, back to the future, footloose, big, national lampoon's vaca., a christmas story, adventures in babysitting, nightmare on elm street, the blues brothers, an officer and a genleman, porky's, splash, stand by me, the princess bride, beetlejuice, et, big, rock n roll high school,the goonies, weird science, terminator, weekend at bernies
