Bananarama, "Bananarama" / 1984 Review by: Paul johnson

The second, self titled album by Bananarama is a more serious and sombre affair than the debut. ( Deep Sea Skiving)

It contains a bevy of successful singles, Cruel Summer, Robert De Niro's Waiting, Rough Justice and Hotline To Heaven/State Im In.

The remainder of the album is a colection of ballads and mood songs, not perhaps what bananarama are renowned for, but fit in well with the style of the album.
