Bananarama, "True Confessions" / 1986 Review by: paul johnson

this album represents the changing face and style of Bananarama. it chronicles the end of a working relationship with Swain and Jolley and the start of a successful spell with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. True Confessions is a very good pop album, Venus being the token disco track, the remainder are wonderful pop songs, True Confessions, Ready Or Not and Hooked On Love are spome of the best songs bananarama ever did.

More Than Physical never managed the same chart success as Venus, but helps make True Confessions most fans favourite Bananarama album.
