Bon Jovi, "Slippery When Wet" / 1986 Review by: Jo Dillman, Kutztown, PA
It was 1986 and I was ready to rock! Jon Bon Jovi was the sexiest man alive and Slippery When Wet was the album of the year! Tracks like "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Livin' On A Prayer" and the opening track, "Let It Rock", got you on your feet, "Wanted Dead Or Alive" got you thinking about what it was really like to be a rock star, and "Never Say Goodbye" got you all emotional. Slippery When Wet is one of those rare albums where every track is brilliant. The album still sounds really good today, especially at full blast!
