Duran Duran, "Notorious" / 1986 Review by: A.Schmidt
Duran Duran's last good album shows the diversity of "Seven and the Ragged Tiger" and the atmosphere of "Rio". For the first time, they use a brass section heavily. The album reflects the darkness of Duran Duran but also shows their smoothness. It is produced by Nile Rodgers, who is also the producer of "Like A Virgin" and "Cosmic Thing" and composer of the songs "Le Chic", "Freak Out", and "Dance,Dance,Dance". Notorious is the most visible song on here, but the edge on this album is addictive. FIND IT!
