Eurythmics, "Be Yourself Tonight" / 1985 Review by: R. Saldana
When the Eurythmics went rock and blues, they never did it better than on this classic album, which contains such massive hits as "Would I Lie To You?" and "Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves." The warm, electric sound of the LP is complimented by innovative synth and rock/soul vocal experimentation. Check out "I Love You Like A Ball and Chain" for an example of Eurythmics' best rock/techno fusion. Dave Stewart's electric guitar soars all over this LP, reminding us of just how great a guitarist he really is. Pick up this CD!

9 out of 10.
