Huey Lewis and the News, "Sports" / 1983 Review by: Alex Temesvari
Sports is not only the greatest American rock & roll album of all time it is the album that turned Huey Lewis & The News from famous california band behind the top ten hit "Do you believe in love" (from platinum album "Picture This")to international superstars & the most successful u.s. band to come out of the eighties. The album released in September '83 was certified many times platinum & eventually went on to sell 10 million copies in the u.s. alone, aswell as hitting no.1 on the billboard charts it also spawned five top twenty hits, including four top tens: Heart & soul, I wanna new drug, The heart of rock & roll, If this is it. The album not only captures the heart of rock & roll, but the unique point of view of a true genius - Huey Lewis. America's finest moment, check out why the whole world went ga ga over this humble Sanfrancisco bar band. If you like this album be sure to check out "Fore!" & "Hard at play"

10 out of 10.
