Kim Wilde, "Close" / 1988 Review by: Jamie
For this album Kim attempted to make a Stock Aitken Waterman album and made some of the best singles of her career. 'You Came', 'Never Trust A Stanger' and 'Four Letter Word' were all huge hits in 1988 all going to the upper reaches on the UK top 10. The trouble with this album like SAW albums is that only the singles are actually memorable. The other minor hits off the album 'Hey Mister Heartache' and 'Love in The Natural Way' also fit the rule. Fantastic singles, however the rest is sadly all filler. Get her greatest hits instead.
