New Kids on the Block, "New Kids on the Block" / 1986 Review by: Suzanne
This album is what most people would expect from 12-16 boys. It has very sugary sweet bubble gum tunes like "Stop it", "Popsicle" and "Angel". Though, it also includes "New Kids on the Block" and "Are You Down?" that incorporate rap into their sound. I'm not sure what to say about "I Wanna be Loved by You" other than it makes me laugh (and I am a true fan). I gave this album a 9 because of the very young sound, but I love it because it's a really fun album. The tracks are "Stop it Girl", "Didn't I Blow Your Mind", "Popsicle", "Angel", "Be My Girl", "New Kids on the Block", "Are You Down?", "I Wanna Be Loved By You", "Don't Give Up on Me", and "Treat Me Right".

9 out of 10.
