The Clash, "Combat Rock" / 1982 Review by: Mr. Media
The Clash were a group with more sense of punk than most, or so it seemed. Combat Rock captures the true spirit of punk with embittered lyrics and cynical concepts. It is the only punk album worth listening to. No wonder why it was the best selling album of '82. after this none of the other heavy metal/punk albums (except for Slippery When Wet) have this gusto.

10 out of 10.
