Toyah, "Desire" / 1987 Review by: paul johnson
Desire contains some of Toyah's more beautifully composed songs. Deadly As A Woman and When A Woman Cries expose a new emotion in Toyah's vocal style, whilst the title track Desire, her first song recorded with husband Robert Fripp is a testimony of love, or lust.

Moonlight Dancing and Revive The World add to the romantic feel of the album, though two cover versions, Echo Beach ( Martha And the Muffins) and Love's Unkind ( Donna Summer) stick out like a sore thumb.
