- 10. Listen Like Thieves by INXS
They had some cool albums. This one had their first hit and while it is dashed with pop stylings, their progressive roots still shine through.
- 9. War by U2
Every song kicks. The older it gets, the better it is.
- 8. Disintegration by The Cure
The music on this album has a richness I've never heard before.
- 7. Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
The River is also really good. And, Tunnel of Love is really good. Heck, everything he does is really good.
- 6. Back In Black by AC/DC
THE hard rock album of the decade. Back in Black kicks arse from beginning to end.
- 5. Strait Outta Compton by N.W.A.
I'm not a big fan of rap music, but I've never heard rap as musical as what N.W.A. did on this album.
- 4. Murmur by REM
Murmur edges some of their other early albums. But others could have made this list (Reckoning, Fables).

Nevermind the movie, the album is a masterpiece.

This album was so good, I'm amazed it was a hit!
