I may not be the first to say it, but it's just about impossible to narrow the list down to just 10 songs! So I'll list a few more faves here, as well as concentrating on songs that other people haven't really listed so I've really had to leave some deserving tracks out ... but here goes ... A Secret Wish - Propaganda, Yes He Ran - Skinny Puppy, Unguarded Moment - The Church, Stripped - Depeche Mode, Goodbye Tonsils - Severed Heads, Love in Motion - Icehouse, Six Pack - Black Flag, Talking to a Stranger - Hunters and Collectors, Cattle and Cane - Go-Betweens, Power and the Passion - Midnight Oil, Wrong - Nomeansno, Slow Train to Dawn - The The, My Heart's on Fire - Machinations, No Tears - Tuxedomoon, Drill - Wire ... Cuz it's Hot - My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Caustic Grip by Front Line Assembly and 99% by Meat Beat Manifesto would all have made my list except they're just past the cutoff date... what a killer decade was the 80s :-)
