One of my favorite; I mean "top notch" cereals back in the day when I was younger. Well, I thought it was right.

Alexis, Are you interested in buying coin operated horses or spring rocking horses??? They are sold on Ebay. Most spring horses are made by Blazon, Wonder, Flexible Flyer, and Radio Flyer. Feel free to buy as many as you like. Good luck!!! :) Ebay account required.

I think I loved Apple Jacks more than Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, even though they looked so much alike. Apple Jacks had something more that Apple Cinnamon Cheerios did not. I'm not sure what it was, but it was something.

Kellogg's introduced Apple Jacks in 1966. An apple-headed cartoon appearedin early TV commercials, usually helping some small kid fend off bullies. One first aired on "The Monkees' over NBC (10/10/66). Jack was retired in 1969. An apple-shaped car was on boxes until 1973, then a cartoon boy and girl for many years.

From the Saturday morning cartoon vault: TV commercial block for Kellogg's, which aired on the "Harlem Globetrotters" over CBS (1/30/71). First, for Apple Jacks, with the apple-shaped car on box. Second, For Froot Loops with Toucan Sam helping a monkey family find their son, followed by an offer for Josie and Pussycat records. There were four in all, each was 35 cents and two box tops from Froot Loops or Frosted Flakes. Records were by Capitol, which pressed a full album late in 1970, Cheryl Ladd was part of this. These were decent-quality, two-sided 45RPM discs. Unfortunately, they had no protective sleeves, only the mailers they were shipped in. All songs were used in the "Josie" cartoon series. The Capitol LP had limited pressing, and is now worth over $200.
