Made by the same people who made Count-chocula and Franken-berry. This was a ghost-shaped blueberry flavored cereal.

Boo-Berry ruled, and you can still find it if you're willing to hunt for it. It's from the same line that brought the famous "Count Choc-ulah" and "FrankenBerry", as well as the less known "Yummy Mummy" and "Fruit Brute".

Yeah, I think it's a special release at Halloween time.

That was my favorite of that whole line of cereal! I think it was quite a few years that they discontinued it before my sister found a box of it for me during Halloween. That was the best "candy" a girl could ask for.

One time when I was shopping I bought this plus the other two (Franken Berry and Coount Chocula)just so I could have all three of them. And this is as good as any blueberry cereal I've had. Too bad this is one of the more overlooked cereals.

It's wonderful! However, ever notice that the ghost on the front looks like he just "burnt one"?

They still make these, but unfortunately they just aren't the same anymore. The box is totally different and ever since the health craze began again, they changed the taste completely.

I have seen this, and of course bought it, but it was a BIG let down.... they changed so much about it, that it is not the same look or taste as before:(

It's a state thing...available in some states and not others. After many unsuccessful searches throughout the U.S. I did eventually find Franken-Berry & Boo-Berry cereals for sale in Michigan. I now live on the Canada West-coast and unfortunately I have been unable to locate either cereal with any of my trips south of the border. Recently they discontinued Count-Chocula up here so I have been doing the occasional grocery run down south where they still seem to sell it. It's like this with many products...nobody in Washington State seems to know what I am talking about when I ask for Schweppes Dry Grape Ginger Ale...never heard of it! I do however hear it's still available in some of the Eastern states. As for the taste.....it's definitely not the same as it once was. Even the texture is different. Closing my eyes and pretending still isn't close to what I remember eating as a child, however in comparison to some of the other cereals available out there today...it's a good alternative.

We have them here in Indiana as well. I grew up on them, and now my kids eat them too. So good! I love cereal :)

I LOVE Boo Berry cereal, actually I love all 3 "Monster" cereals, but my favorite is the Boo Berry. I couldn't find it for a while in North Carolina, but I SURE am glad it came back! That, and Franken Berry too...but we've always had Count Chocula!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought the Boo-Berry tasted much different now. It definitely was disappointing when I bought some not long ago.

Back in the 80s, my aunt used to send it up to me from South Carolina since it wasn't available in NJ.

Boo Berry was found to contain a very toxic dye, which I suspect is what caused Gen Mills to change the recipe... What's also interesting is that it's *very* difficult to find reference to this anymore. I remember reading about it some 15 years ago, but struggled to find anything about it now.

They have all the monster cereals out around Halloween. My favorite was Boo Berry but it does not taste the same as I remembered it! Taste very weak!
