I remember being five years old, sitting at the dining room table for breakfast. My dad had just got home from working graveyard shift, and proceeded to make me and my brother a bowl of crispy critters, because we loved the cereal so. What he didn't know was that the milk had gone sour, so when we took that first spoonful, we thought there was something wrong with the crispy critters! Needless to say, that was the last time we ever ate the cereal.

This was my favorite Ever Cereal. I miss it so much. Nobody I know remembers it but me. Somehow they need to bring it back!

I can remember part of the commerical...crispy critters a ______ bunch, a _____ cereal with lots of c-runch, theyre indubitably , indubitably , delicious, its funny how i cant remember some of my childhood but some of this song is still lodged in my brain...

Oh my goodness! I was trying and trying to figure out what this cereal was called. I'm glad Im not the only person out there to remember crispy critters. I remember this was such good cereal.

My cousins used to call me Crispy Critter. I always liked this cereal, they tasted kind of like Kix, only....crispier....so good!

It was and to this day still is my most favorite cereal ever. I have written Post many times but got no where with my request. Hopefully some day they will bring it back.

As I lay here with my hubby reminiscing over the 80s, I started singing the jingle word for word. Of course he looked at me and said, "Baye, you're nuts!" I didn't think I remembered the whole jingle...I swear I liked it more than the cereal. LOL. It was catchy!!!

I remember fondly pulling up to my Sister's house for breakfast, when there on her porch her cat sat eating a field mouse-while surrounded by "Crispy Critters" that my Nephew had spilled-YUMMY!

This cereal was gross, but the shapes were cool so i ate it up.

my favorite cereal as a child 70's and if it was around it still would be, always hoped it would come back on the market, uncertain to why it disappeared, it made a brief resurface, then was gone again. Uncertain as to the actual dates.

i very vividly remember going to church ( i was about 6 years old) and getting sick in a trash can during my Sunday school class...those critters weren't so crispy anymore. i never ate that cereal again. (although i remember it being delicious)

why did they discontinue that cereal anyway? It was one of my favorites and low in sugar tasted good and was good for you too. That's why I don't understand why they stopped making it. It was the best cereal!!

Loved this cereal! I got a book out of the box that had the main Crispy Critter on it. I still have the book and it's now in my kids collection of books! Cereal box toys of the 80's! Awesome!!

Crispy Critters a good wholesome bunch. A low suger cereal with lots of Ca-runch. It's funny but whenever I'm playing a video game that involves killing enemies with fire or lightening or any other burny type weapon I think of the above lyrics. I'm twisted like that.

Here's how it went: "Hello my name is Crispy how do you do? Crispy Critters cereal it's entirely new. It's indubitably delicious!"
