My absolute favorite cereal in the entire history of cereals.

I used to eat this cereal straight out of the box, handful after handful. I thought it tasted great as a dry snack. Healthier than that crap they feed kids these days. Man I miss that cereal.

Oh how I miss this cereal, second to Cinnamon Toast Crunch as greatest cereal of all time RIP DDC

Kelloggs Golden Frosted Flakes reminded me of the honey tast of Double Dip Crunch. It was also crunchy, but didn't have the nuts. Ahhh the memories.Where did this cereal go.

We ate enough of this cereal in our house to redeem proofs of purchase for Double Dip Crunch merch--water bottles with lids, straws, and foam sleeves emblazoned with the DDC yield sign logo all over them. Got to love that! I'm waiting for some cereal company to get smart and offer a Nalgene bottle or other similar water bottle available for reduced price/for free by redeeming so many cereal proof of purchase tags. Could be brilliant. Would encourage the "green" movement (reuseable bottle, fill with tap water, etc). And also great for advertising. I'm so hungry for Double Dip Crunch right now.

I have been searching for Double Dip Crunch for years. I haven't found another favorite cereal since the mid 90's when DDC was removed from the shelves.

I LOVED DOUBLE DIP CRUNCH. I had almost forgotten all about it, but then my fiancee poured a bowl of cereal that I never tried called Honey Nut Chex. I was skeptical, because I hate Honey Nut Cheerios, but I tried a handful, and it tastes JUST LIKE Double Dip Crunch. Buy a box and see for yourself! I'm off to devour the entire box now!

I concur! I have been looking for this cereal for the longest time and wondered where it went! This site is hilarious. I can't believe I have found other people that feel the same way about a cereal! Someone needs to look at these comments and bring it back.

I have searched so long for anyone else who remembered this cereal. It's unbelievably hard to find a retired cereal when you can't remember it's name. This was my favorite cereal. I currently use Honey Nut Chex as a poor replacement. I think later in the marketing campaign they used the slogan "honey on the one side... nuts on the other!".

It is so nice to know that there are people out there who remember the DDC. I bring it up more often than I mean to, and have not yet met anyone outside of the fam who looks back longing for a taste of that Double Dip, Double Dip Crunch. Here's to a comeback!

DDC was the best cereal. I still have breakfast fantasies about it. They should bring it back.

I used to buy up all the boxes when they would come in (usually 6-8 at a time) because they would disappear so quickly. Then it would be a month or so before more would come in. And only certain stores had it. When I moved away for college I took about 15 boxes with me because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find it in a smaller town.

I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!! If you can find a Kroger then you are in LUCK. Kroger makes a cereal called "Honey Nut Bitz." not blitz, but bitz! I swear to God and all above that is identical to DDC. It's basically a honey nut chex. It is soooooooo good. We buy it all the time. You can thank me later. What happened ol' Lisa Frank??

I agree, Double Dip Crunch was by far worth driving to Ocean City Maryland from NYC for....best cereal ever!!!!
