Description
Fruit Brute was one of the Frankenberry/Count Chocula/Booberry line. The cartoon character was a werewolf who was always touting the "howling good taste" of his cereal, which had a vaguely raspberry taste. The product did not survive more than a year or two.

I knew I'd find someplace else that remembered this!

My only memory of this cereal is the prize a sticker you put around your light switch and it glowed in the dark

I also had the Fruit Brute glow-in-the-dark light switch cover! I loved this creature and his cereal! He has retreated into the darkness due to humanity's ignorant selfishness and corporate greed! But he lives on in our hearts!

AHA! Others who remember this cereal. My sister and I loved it. When they stopped making it we cried. It was a sad, sad day to be a kid.

I loved this cereal as a kid. I wish they still sold it locally. How about Frankenberry,Booberries, Count chocula? I recently tried some Frakenberry from Wal-mart, but it was nothing like the paste taste; they cut down on the sugar:)

They made plastic squeaky toys of the 4 characters, about 9 inches tall, very good detail. Fruit Brute and BooBerry are harder to find than Chocula and Frankenberry.
