Description
Like Shredded Wheat with fruit fillings. Raisin was the flavour I remember eating, but I believe there was also apple and possibly strawberry. Yellow, rather plain box with dark brown writing. The commercials aired all the time, and had a kid asking how they got the fruit inside Fruit Wheats cereal (reminiscent of the old Tootsie Pop commercials, just with an annoying guy in a castle instead of the turtle).

I used to love Fruit Wheats! For breakfast, as a snack, whenever! Sorry Nabisco no longer makes them.
at last, my mind can rest. i wasn't crazy and this cereal DID exist.
I only remember strawberry and blueberry. They were so, so good.

I loved this cereal.. I wish they still made it. The only thing that comes close to this now is Frosted Mini Wheats. But there isn't any fruit inside. Booo.
I think if we all petition, we can get Fruit Wheats back. What do you think?
If enough people make it clear that they'd regularly buy this cereal they might bring it back... there are a couple of similar products out now, but they're not nearly as good as the original. Maybe a petition would help!
I made a petition to try to get this cereal manufactured again. Probably won't work but if anyone knows any executives over at Kraft of Post, maybe you could enlighten them to the fact that people would buy this stuff if they made it? I new that cereal existed. That was my most favorite cereal ever. I would totally buy that cereal all the time if they started selling that cereal again. I will sign the petition. That would be great if it worked.
I am dying to bring this cereal back I loved it growing up. My Dad and I would eat it every morning.I am starting a family and would love to share it with them. We have to find a way to bring it back..

Strawberry Fruit Wheats was the best! My whole family misses that cereal and we'd buy boxes of the stuff if we could.
I loved strawberry fruit wheats as a kid, what the hell is up with all the good stuff being taken away, the 80's and 90's rocked. I heard that trader joe's has a similar product, so maybe we can all revel in the goodness once again.

This is the best cereal I have ever eaten! The raisin filled wheats were unbelievably delicious!!! I signed the petition online already. I would buy boxes of this cereal if I could.
I remember these were delicious, I want some right now. These and Oatmeal Swirlers were such great products, today's quick breakfast items just can't match the creativity :(
