Yes, I remember Marshmallow Krispies for a short time, I just didn't know it was called Fruity Marshmallow Krispies. It was a green box and it was really good. I can't believe I remember it, but I can.

These came out in the late '80s, as opposed to the "Marshmallow Krispies" of the Early '80s, (Which just had plain, multi-colored marshmallows.) "Fruity" had fruit-shaped (& flavored!) marshmallows, and were MUCH better! Yes, Hannah, F.M.K.'s did come in a green box, the original Marshmallow Krispies came in a red box.

I Loved fruity marshmellow crispies! When they stopped making them breakfest just wasn't the same. I was so mad when they stopped making it. Now they put marshmellows in ceral where it just doesn't belong. Such as Apple Jacks and Fruit Loops.

I second that! The cereal was awesome and only a few of my friends actually remember it. Remember the jingle in the commercial? IT ws very congo-line-esque!

I know I loved them they should bring them back. I don't know why the stopped making them they were the best Rice Krispies out there. I keep hoping they will come back.

Oh my goodness. This was my favorite cereal of all time. I remember the green box...the sweet little marshmallows that truly did enhance the flavor of plain ole rice krispies. What I wouldn't give for another tasty bowl. We should start a petition.

The best part was that the marshmallow to cereal ratio was among the highest in the cereal aisle.

If you go to Vat19.com you can buy "cereal marshmallows" which taste identical to the lucky charms marshmallows. Only $2.25 per bag. They ship anywhere in the US. I order them regularly and purchase regular rice krispies and add those and life is once again happy. As a kid I do not remember the krispies being frosted, so this for me is the exact memory I wanted. For now, it is the next best thing being that I do not see Kellog's bringing back the best cereal they ever made anytime soon. Good luck.

I remember the commercial more than the cereal, and the second line “Lots of fruity marshmallow shapes” where “shapes”sounds like the plural form of a certain 4-letter word.

FRUITY Marshmallow Krispies was leaps and bounds better than all the other Rice Krispies variants combined. Does anyone know where fruit-flavored, dried mini-marshmallows can be purchased, or is there a comparable recipe?
