Description
This was THE best cereal I've ever tasted. It had a milkman on the box and I believe a milkman in the commercials too. I wish they still made it!

Wasn't this cereal shaped like little milk bottles? I remember something like that from a long time ago.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh...this has plagued me for *literally* over 25 years...I ate this as a child (maybe 5 or 6 years old?) and I could never remember what the heck they were called. I have asked at least a hundred people over the years if they knew what they were, and no one had a clue. They must have made quite an impact on my taste buds as a child, because it has been on my mind for years!!! I never thought about looking online for an answer...but my husband and I were listening to a radio show today about "things that have been driving you nuts"-a forum where you ask a question and listeners can call in and tell you what you want to know (hopefully). I told my him I wanted to call in and ask about it and he said I was nuts, that there was no cereal like that. HAHA!! The only things I could remember were a) I loved them b) There was a milkman involved in some way on the box and c) They were shaped like an elongated cheerio with a little line through the center. (I could be a bit off on this) Wow. What a gem I've found here, I was not hallucinating. Thanks!!!!!

YES!!!!! Finally, an answer to my life long query. I am 30 years old and no one else remembers this cereal. Not even my older sister. All I remembered was a milkman and the shape was kind of like a long thing with a line down the middle. I just remember thinking it was the best thing I ever ate. I am so happy to know what the heck it is. Now...if I can only get my hands on some.

Thank you, thank you!!!!!! Like the other commentors, I too LOVED this cereal as a child (I am 31) and could not remember the name, just that there was a milkman on a blue box. Thank you for the help, I am now going to search for the maker to see if it is still made in limited quantities.

OMG, OMG OMG! I have been racking my brain for years(I'm 33 now)trying to remember what the name of this cereal was! I LOVED it so much and although I couldn't remember the taste, I could remember what it was shaped like! Thank you so very much for jogging my brain.

I am so grateful for the internet... I have just recently eaten Kashi honey wheat O's and they reminded me of Graham Crack-o's, but I couldn't remember what they were called..... so if anyone misses that cereal, I suggest giving the Kashi cereal a try but make sure it's Honey Wheat O's, not any other variety

Like all of you I'm 30+ and graham crack-O's is my all time favorite cereal! I believe they replaced this cereal with Cracklin' Oat Bran. It's good, but no where close to Graham crack-O's(The best cereal ever made). We should petition for this cereal to be reintroduced. I guarantee it will bring out the kid in every 30+ cereal lover! My taste buds have been deprived for over 20 years

I loved this cereal. I hated that they got rid of it because there isn't another graham cereal that tastes even close to it! I was very dissapointed trying them all out! I wish they would bring it back because I swear I would eat it every day!!!

I couldn't remember the name of this cereal either. I'm glad someone described what the cereal looked like, because that's all I could remember. I'd forgotten about the milkman on the box. Now I'm gonna ask my brother & sister if they remember it.

I loved it too (I'm 33), but I wonder if it's as good as we remember. When I was five I also liked vanilla icing with cucumbers and wanted to marry my brother.

I am so glad I tried another google search for this cereal. I had been wondering if I just dreamed about eating it. I thought it was Golden Grahams as a different shape. I'm 36 and I remember waking up to this cereal since it did last longer even after it was in milk. Here's another site to look at: http://www.mrbreakfast.com/cereal_detail.asp?id=684

Yay! I can't tell you how many times I've thought about this cereal and wished I could remember the name! I loved it so much and remember being around 5 yrs old eating it on my tv tray (ha) watching Sesame Street, Mr Roger's, and The Electric Company (Hey You Guys!). What great memories! I'm 34 btw.

I am 45 years old! graham crackos was my favorite thing to eat. I could eat a whole box of them if it was allow. I wish they would bring them back. I know someone else changed the name with the same cereal but that went off the market also. I wish they would bring them back!

The name of this cereal has ben haunting me for decades!!! I called it "Milkman Cereal" when I was little and my parents have no recollection of it apparently. This is my all-time favorite cereal! Thank you for solving this mystery--though I wish I could still buy it...

This was my favorite cereal, because it tasted like graham crackers and wasn't too sweet like Golden Grahams. I'm bummed that they quit making Graham Cracko's... I thought they were so yummy!

I also grew up eating this it was my favorite. I still eat graham crackers like they are cereal but Graham Cracko's was great because it did not get mushy. I wish they would bring them back!

I too have been racking my brains for years about this cereal, the best ever, I thought the shape was just round, but it's been described exactly how I remember, crunchy even after being in milk for ages!! I can still taste them in my head. I have bored my wife for over 10 years about them & she doesn't know what I'm talking about, I mentioned it to my mum tonight & she instantly said CRACKO'S we must get Kellogg's to re do them!!!! I'm 38 years old!!!

I'd say we all contact Kelloggs and tell them to bring Graham Crackos and Kelloggs Danish Go Rounds back. Tell them to do research and look at these and maybe other comments on discontinued products. Makes you wonder why they pull products and how they figure to do it.

I was at work today with a younger crowd (I'm 40) - they were discussing their favorite childhood cerials. I instantly said Graham Crackos. No one knew what I was talking about. We googled it and watched the commercials with Milkman George from 1978. The best cerial by far although it's a good idea not to let the milkman in your house when your parents aren't home. I don't eat sugary cerials anymore but would eat Graham Crackos for sure if they brought them back!

I'm wondering if this cereal was reinvented for a couple years in the early 80's? I remember it was a blue and brown box and came in a smaller type box like Grapenuts sized box. I also remember the name Milk Grahams, not Crackos. There was a Milkman but he was a cartoon Milman. There was also the same pitch about trapping the milk in the Os. Not too clear on this memory but I thought it had 2 holes like a # 8 not 3, but I could be mistaken on that one. It always seemed to be on the top or 2nd from the top shelf in the grocery store and did not get the "kid shelf" space like Boo Berry, Pac-Man Cereal, Sugar Smacks etc. This was definatley my favorite. Golden Grahams are the closest thing now which I love, but still not the same.

The best tasting Graham cereal... grew up eating this... since then there has been other cereals that came, discontinued then come back since Graham Crackos. I am almost positive cereals like Oreo's, French Toast Crunch to name a couple that were discontinued and came back, not sure why they don't want to at least do a probation trial period to see how sales do. And make sure it has the same taste

Writing about my life . I remember this cereal vividly I Was 8 when dad brought this home. He had gotten it for free at church .This is when my life began falling apart unable to think clearly failing in school suffering from hyperactivity from sugar . Crack O's Crack O's wake up to Crack O's . As bad as Real CRACK Cocaine for a kid

I ate this cereal when I was a kid. Like many of you I have driven myself crazy the last 35 plus years trying to remember the name. I would ask different people and they looked at me like I had 7 heads. Tonight I decided to google cereals from the 70’s and 80’s. I knew I would recognize it as i vividly remember the exact shape of the cereal as well as George the milkman. The funny part is that as much as I loved this cereal, and can still taste it if I think about it hard enough, I’m not a fan of Graham Cracker. Especially when I was younger. But I couldn’t get enough of these Graham Crackos

Thank you all for letting me know I am not alone on this one. So I have searched the internet rigorously for a single picture of the box I remember which was white with blue and a picture of a milkman and maybe his truck along with the figure 8 shaped cereal but have not been able to find any trace of it. I did find a good video from Cereal Time TV - Graham Crackos (1978) published Feb 10 2018 which clears up the question of why some people remember the three hole kind and other remember the figure 8 variety. Apparently the figure 8 type was made from 1981 till 1983. Surprisingly the link in William's comment from 2009 actually still works (as of 10/1/2019) and you can still vote for it. I was voter # 262. I agree that this was the best cereal I have ever had and I still look for it on the shelves even after it has been discontinued for 36 years. How crazy is that?

BRING BACK GRAHAM CRACKOS!!! I had these as a kid..and remember the commercial well - the one with the milkman at the back door. It was by far the BEST cereal ever - and I will never understand why it was discontinued. I even called Kellogs in the 90s and begged them to bring it back - to no avail. I wonder if there is a way to fight for the cause!?
