Description
I think it was like Capn Crunch or Quisp (now Sweet Crunch) although it may have come out in the 70's

I remember this cereal. There were happy faces in it, like Kaboom only they were all Captain Crunch color.

I LOVED this cereal! It was sweet, kind of like Capt Crunch; large pieces with a happy face. Had a distinct flavor all its own.

I Loved this cereal as well. The fridge magnets came in the box as the prize, you had to buy to collect and there were 5 different ones(Grins, smiles, giggles, laughs and Cecil). Other cereals I Love are Quisp, King Vitaman and Boo Berry! The reason I say Love instead of Loved is that they are still available and I still enjoy them. However, Quisp is not as thin as it was so now it's more of a puff and less tasty lacking flavor, it is different. King Vitaman reduced it's sugar content about a decade ago but it still exists and tastes good just bland and Boo Berry seems as good as ever. Just search and you shall find!

This must have come out prior to around 1978, because that's about when my dad quit working for the grocery store. He brought me a bedside lamp that they must have sent to store managers to promote the cereal. I had that thing forever, but it's been lost to time now. Can't imagine how much it would go for on eBay today.

My husband remembers this cereal and has the fridge magnets to prove it,but I also thought he was crazy,,,we grew up in the same time so I dont know why we never had this cereal,I dont even remember seeing the commercials. Were they only at certain stores?
