Description
It was a cereal from around 1981 or 1982, and it had a cartoon king as the main character. It was very similiar in appearance and taste to peanut butter Cap'n Crunch.

Halfises was a cereal made by Quaker, and the king's name was King Halfsie. He ruled the "magic land where everything is half. But the best half of all is great tasting Halfsies, the cereal that's a whole lot more fun.", or so the side of the box says. The big deal about this cereal is that it was one of the first cereals to offer half the sugar of most sugar-coated cereals. I have a couple old boxes, dated 1982 and the price tag on the top flap is $1.89 for a 16oz large box. I remember eating this cereal and it did NOT have a peanut butter taste, though it did taste similar to regular Cap'n Crunch.
