Description
Round puffed wheat cereal. They were covered in honey and tasted like cardboard. They had a green frog on the box and always had a prize inside.

I don't remember ever having this cereal as a child but I did have it just a few months ago and not really liking it very much, just a little. I'll never have it again. Beverly Archer was in one of the commercials from the 80s, she was Iola from Mama's Family. The frog is cute though.

I think this has always been a love it or hate it cereal. I'm down with Smackey the Frog.

No, his name was "Dig Em'" and they were called Sugar Smacks! They still have them but the frog's voice has gotten too cartoony. It used to be really deep. Family Guy, the ultimate 80s mocking show, did an episode where Mayor Adam West builds a solid gold statue of Dig Em lol.
