I remember these! I even had a Little Golden Book about them. They tasted similar to Kix, but with a denser texture... if I remember correctly.

I remember Krispy Critters, they were actually more like Alphabits, but bigger and in the shape of animals. I bring them up from time to time. When we were kids, about 11-12 years old, we would be up at the small shopping center near our house, and there was a party hall there. One day they were doing taste tests and invited kids in to try it and watch a commercial for them and give their opinions. It was great. We also did tatse tastes for Cap'n Crunch when it 1st came out, with Cap'n Crunch and John La'foot. Still remeber it to this day and I'm 52 now.

omg. I'm so happy I found this. I have just be wracking my brain for the name of this cereal. I was thinking it was kristy kreatures... Anyhow, I remember the commercial very well. There was a little girl with long brown hair singing the jingle at a piano with the said 'kritters', as puppets or cartoons, all around her. I wanted this cereal so bad but my parents were health nuts and very cheap so they would never buy it. I'm scarred for life. I wish someone had the graphic to post...

I figured out that it was actually spelled Crispy Critters, not with K's. So if you search that way there are lots of pictures available through Post. I was thrilled to see the commercial that Nay mentioned, too! Wheee!

I don't remember ever eating this cereal but my cousins must have since I was stuck with the name Kristi Kritter throughout my childhood, and sometimes they still like to tease me with it.

I have been trying to find the commercial for this cereal forever! This was by far my favorite cereal when I was a little. Who was singing? Wasn't it a giraffe of some sorts? Terrifying.

Yeah! They did taste like Kix and shaped like little animals. One time I collected the little barcodes and mailed them in and got a storybook about them that came with a cassette tape you could listen to. Remember those ones that tell you when its time to turn the page?? I loved it.
