I never did have this cereal. I once looked at the side of the box and noticed it was like 8 grams of fat for maybe a cup I think. How is that healthy?

I never had this cereal. I've heard from others that it's the bomb when it comes to taste...Which means that it probably isn't healthy.

This had to be my all time favorite cereal. You can still get it but it must be ordered online.

Anyone remember that some of the commercials in the 70s pitted Quisp and Quake as rivals? My younger brother was a Quake guy while I preferred Quisp. I worked for Quaker until about a year ago and they definitely still make Quisp, though not many stores carry it.

As a kid (I'm 52 now..) I could eat a whole box at one sitting! But my mom would always stop that. But she bought me plenty of it! Best damn cereal ever! Can't find it where I live.

Definitely was not allowed to have this cereal as a kid. Probably because of disturbing cartoony alien character on the front of the box, along with the plain ol' goofy name. This cereal appealed to those on the far side of the bell curve, not that it's a bad thing. Just look at the image again. Don't you feel kinda dopey chuckling out loud at the marketing genius behind this insanity?

I found Quisp in Dollar General for $1.00/box. I proceded to buy all they had (which was 5 boxes) then scoured the other Dollar General's here for the rest. I only got 2 additional boxes. But... they were not as good as I remember when I was a kid. Very similar to King Vitamin. It wasn't as sweet as I recall. However, it was great to have it again and I sold 2 boxes online for a total of $6.00. Can't beat that mark up!!

I remember Quisp. Much better than Captain Crunch, which tended to leave sores on your mouth.
