OMG!! i loved this cereal!!! where is it??!!??

I'm 36 now and i still look for this cereal to this day when i go to a new store this was my favorite cereal. man i miss it.

OMG!! I thought I was the only one who remembered that. I can still hear that jingle. I found myself humming it the other day, I'm pretty sure it's to the tune of some Nutcracker song. It was yummy cereal, too!

I was born in 1982. Iwas very little when this cereal came out but I love the Smurfs anyway. And so did my older brother and my parents.

The maker of this greatest, #1 of all time cereal was POST which is now a division of its parent company Kraft foods. Lets all start an email campaign and petition them to bring it back. Oh man do I ever remember that cereal. They were the best. I think they were either cherry or strawberry flavored corn puffs mixed with blueberry corn puffs. I don't know what happened to them but whoever took them off the shelves should have their heads examined.

Smurf cereal was by the best cereal. A long time ago capin cruch had a deep sea cruch that tasted just like smurf cereal. But nothing compares to it. I wish that post would bring it back.

WOW!!! my mom used to keep this cereal stocked in the house bc I loved it. My friends are the same age as me (27) and think i'm crazy bc they never heard of the Smurf's having cereal. You can tell they were sheltered...lol!!!!

I also LOVED the Smurfberries cereal! Like many other posters said, nothing today even comes close! The Captain Crunch one isn't the same--too much crunch. I hope they bring it back since I hear there's gonna be a Smurfs movie out soon.

It never seizes to amaze me what you come across on the internet. I like the rest LOVED this cereal and still look for it. It feels Awesome to not be the only one who remembers what the cereal was like. I can still catch a smell that takes me back To the BERRIES!!

Actually Smurfs IS still airing on television, Sza. Boomerang airs it a couple of times a day.. along with many other 80's cartoons. But yeah, I agree that the cereal is unlikely to return. Kids today want spongebob junk.

Hanna Montana cereal just came out and it lookslike/resembles "smurf berry crunch" of the 80s. I bought a few boxes but have yet to try it.

I remember getting Smurf Berry Crunch as a "treat" on Christmas and the last day of school. No wonder I have such fond memories! My parents would always let me pick one "junk" cereal for those days, and I ALWAYS chose Smurf Berry Crunch.

I totally loved this cereal and whether the cartoon is on T.V. or not if people will buy it is all that counts. I remember when I was little getting sent "down south" to my Aunt Vera's house. I was having the worst time , I missed my family so much. My Aunt took me to the grocery store and told me I could get anything I wanted. I was so happy to see Smurfberry Crunch on the self. I got two boxes!! After that I loved "down south"!!!

Sometimes this cereal is einacrnated by post as different "trend" cereals. I have tasted a couple, like the "Spiderman 3" cereal and the "scooby doo bones" cereal. None of these cereals are exactly the sma,e but they are close.

I remember waking up saturday morning and having this cereal! My sister use to scarf this down. One time we ran out of milk so she ate it with orange juice instead. It wasn't all THAT bad, but that is how much she like it!

I'm 30 as well and I can tell you that there hasn't been a single cereal that has come close to matching the taste Smurf Berry Crunch did.

I to share the love for this cereal. My children watch the Smurfs everyday. Boomerang sometimes airs old commercials, one day they aired the Smurfberry cereal and wouldn't your know it my kids wanted it!! BRING IT BACK. Would love to share memories with them.

God, I sure remember this stuff. It had a very, VERY, potent chemical taste, almost certainly from the dark blue 'berries'. It was atrocious and it ended up going stale because no one could stand it. Sure enough, though, a few months later my brother and I begged my mom for another box. Why? It was one of the only blue cereals around... Oh boy. And, yes, that box went stale too.

Rice Cripies - Berry Crispies are the closest thing to the urf Berries - they sure were good!! Try the rice cripy brand in stores today!!
