Oh God these were ugly! You can still find plenty of them (yellowed) in your local thrift store for purchase-though I don't know who the heck would want them! It's really amusing when my kids watch Sesame Street videos from that era and the characters are "totally" in style with their acid-washed jeans and white hightop sneaks-ugh!
Loved them back then...they were so high they were covered everything just about up to your boobs, awesome coloring and dont forget how much better they looked with extra holes and rips in them...and THEN they were super popular with big huge rips with tights or something worn under them...i can honestly say, i really dont miss them lol

I had a pair that I folded over & then rolled up at the bottom w/my Reebok High Tops! The waists were up to our necks & they made out butts looks flat & weird & kinda saggy all at once! LOLZ! I loved the blue acid washed & had pink too. I did not like the black or grey acid washed. I had a jacket to match too. I wore them w/my turtle necks!

Yep I remember the colored acid washed yellow, blue and pink. I saw a grown woman wearing skinny pink acid wash jeans the other day....some trends are better off dead.
I had a few pairs of acid washed jeans, my fave was acid washed black. I also had an acid washed wallet, which I just came across the other day. Mint.
Don't like acid wash that much, but the ones Buck wore on Married With Children were pretty cool. They're not the same today.
