Wow, I bookmarked this site a few years ago and recognize this EXP sweatshirt description as the one I submitted, haha. I am surprised no one else has commented. I wore these at age 12-14 and so did most of the girls and women I knew. They were incredibly popular. I remember the fabric was really high quality, heavy yet soft and it washed WELL. I wore these all of the time until I decided I was too "punk" for them in 9th grade.

It looks like Express is not going to make anymore sweatshirts like the EXP appliqued style. Those were my favorite casual wear in the late 1980's. Are there any sweatshirts out there that are similar?

Is there anywhere that you can find these sweatshirts ? Do they make them anymore ? Would love to find anything simular even.

Do any of you have the hunter green EXP sweatshirt in small/medium that you would want to sell me asap?

For about 25 years I have been wearing a red one and purple one (both Large). They are my favorite sweatshirts. Don't believe I've ever had garments stand the test of time like these have. If only I could find a new comparable red one. They are really starting to show their age. LOL!

I agree with Deborah Ann, I have a red one, that I still wear with a big EXP across the chest. It's not faded at all. I can't believe it's that old. It was a gift, I recall, but didn't remember it was from the 80's till I read this post. I also wish I could find another!! It was very well made and the stitching and colors remain true

I'm a great fan of the exp sweatshirt, I have about 20 of them, I picked one up at goodwill, looks like it was never worn.

I'm a large collector of express sweatshirts, I haven't found any lately. Most of my sweatshirts came from thrift shops and goodwill. I have between 20 to 25, not wearing them but just collecting them, In love with the inside out look,
