My first was a Blue one just like the pic here..I was in 7th grade & that was later than 85, it was maybe 87. These shirts were hot later than 85. I luv'd my shirt! My Aunt Joan owned an Consignment Shop in Milford,Ct. She got the shirt in on consignment & I went nuts till she took it off the racks & brought it home for me. I got a lot of my "Fad" clothes that way, Guess Jeans, Benetton Shirt, Etc.

U know what? This shirt was not that great looking. Ppl went nutso over these & I cried til li got mine but it was not that hot to look at now that I see this picture. Another clothing fad back then was "Outback Red" from the Limited & Banana Republic T Shirts & these flowered hippy shirts that were thin cotton w/a pretty floral design on them. But those "Outback Red" shirts were usually sleeveless & designed somehow, u wore them w/shorts from the same line at the Limited too, they also had mock turtleneck looking shirts for colder weather. Keds got big too when I was in 7th/8th grade. Anything from the Gap was hot too & those dumb black Debbie Gibson hats were popular.

Whoa, I just found a bag of my 80s clothing and it contains this shirt!!!! In Blue. It looked awful on-- so unflattering for girls.
