Description: At home kit for "frosting" and "tipping" highlights onto the hair, to give platinum blonde streaks. Thin hair strands (usually short to medium style) are pulled through a cap with a hook and the bleaching creme is applied. Today, "chunking" is most popular, wider bands of hair bleached pale blonde as well as accent tones like red or caramel or "punky" colours like pink, blue etc.

I frost my hair all the time with the home kit and it works great. I rather do it myself instead of going to a salon. Saves me money.

Oh my! I used this stuff when I was 10 yrs.old. I used it on a few clumps of hair surrounding my face, and being my hair is naturally very dark brown...it came out orangey looking. I still rocked it out w/ my perm and all + a bottle of Bold Hold or Stiff Stuff, lol!
