Description: These were ties ( usually in a soft woven material) that were made for us gals. They were usually pastel colors ( I had a light blue one) You wore them with Shaker knit sweaters and usually matched the tie to your blouse color, i.e.: blue tie, blue shirt. For a feminine touch I wore a pair of blue tinted fake pearls that fell just below the knot in the tie. This was part of the whole "menswear craze".
