In 1983 I was in 11th grade and I loved the long sleeve Lightining Bolt surfer shirts. For some reason I cannot find anything about this brand on the web?

I was brought to this site while looking for an old Lighting Bolt clutch purse, I"ve looked on e-bay and all over the net. These brands were such a part of my life while growing up in FL. I had blue lightning Bolt flip flops! Some of this still has to be around.

I grue up all over Los Angeles and the beach was all part of growing up I did not live at the beach but when I was a kid I can remember the entire family mom, grand parents, uncles, aunts, and friends going to the beach. And I also remember the most populer So. Califonia clothing for the grade school kids all the way to the old surfers from way back was Op and Lighting Bolt I can remember as a teen us boy/youn men was able to where half shirts and not worry about being called sissy's it was the in thing it was cool to where Lighting Bolt shorts, pants and a OP half shirt or visa versa Oh! I miss the good old dasy I like the advancement we have mad in technoligy as well but thoes was some of the best days in all of time I hope Iam not the only persone that feels this way where did the 80"s go lol thay turned into the 90's that is time thoe it dont stand still but please somebody bring back hang ten/ OP/ and Lightning Bolt Please lol

Yay! I'm not the only person looking for Lightning Bolt clothing. My whole wardrobe consisted of Lightning Bolt, OP nad Hang Ten. Oh yeah and a pair of whit Nike with the powder blue swoosh. I miss my two-tone pants and shorts...I still have a Lightning Bolt keychain from 1982. Wish I still had the silver necklace! Can't find anything on the company anywhere on the net, shame. I see that Walmart has brought OP back to life.

I still have one of my Lighting Bolt longsleeves with the bolts on the arms. I must have got it when I was 12 in about 83. It's too small for me, but fits my girlfriend well. She always gets comments when she wears it. Funny cause she was born in 83.
