When it was popular:
Description: Lipsticks that looked one color and when you put them on and rubbed your lips together they would turn pink. The more you rubbed the pinker they got. The one I had was green and it turned very hot pink.

Yeah, I remember these. They were really poor quality and had a tendency to bleed into the rest of your mouth. They looked really cool at first, but they were just really cheap.

They all seemed to be bright pink and red and was really hard to wash off your lips.

Our brand had a black coating on the outside and was bright green in the center. It turned your lips real red/pink; it real hard to wash the evidence off before you got home from school!

i agree with everyone else..crappy bleeding and horrible colors that never matched the skin tone which was what it was supposed to do

I remember having one of these. It was yellow and it went on clear, then turned bright effin' pink. My cousin tried to say she didn't use it, lol.

It didn't matter which color you got it was the same result, a bright red/pink color!

These are still available. I found some recently in a dollar store, and bought every color. They even had black, which changes to plum color.

were can you find them, now all i can find is the mood one but in the 60's they had some that just changed color and the yellow was pink the black was a dark red

They suupposedly changed to what was the best color to match your skin tone, but I am whiter than powdered detergent, and I always got stuck with this ugly, bright, flat matte red that completely clashed
