I'm looking for those same shoes I really would like to get a pair, I even called MIA and asked if they could make those again, but they were real leather with a real wood sole. they wre really nice.

I had several pairs of these in the 80's. I loved the way they look and they are great for those of us with wide feet. I just spent an hour looking on Ebay and Amazon to no avail. The closest thing I could find to them are Mia's Hepburn or Glimmer shoes but neither are exactly the same from the 80's. If anyone knows where I can buy a ppair of the 80's style shoes today I want to know.

I found my old pair of Mia flats still in good shape in storage. I just wore them to work but was reminded how easily they fall off with nylons. I lost a flat twice on my way to work - on metro train and then on escalator.

Yes, it would be great if Mia could make these quality flats again. But I remember that it was hard to stay in them, and they would slip off kinda unexpectedly...like on stairs, or I'd just walk out of one on the street. When I partied, I would lose a flat every night.

Oh, to have a pair of Mia flats and a Forenza v-neck sweater again! Worn backwards, of course.

I had a sister who loved these so much she put up with the fact they killed her feet. I have great memories of here with band aids all across the back of her foot where the shoe rubbed. You never wore these with nylons, bare feet was the cool look. I too was looking for a pair, hoping I too could hurt my feet? No luck-I love these shoes-lots of memories......

WOW! I love that others miss the old Mia flats. I had several pairs of the exact same kind until they stopped making them. Leather with the flat wood heel, color was called "blush"...!the perfect pale beigey-pink. I even wrote to MIA and begged them for a 1985 throwback re-release! Often a sweater and skinny jeans with ankle zips!

I had these shoes in every color they made. Remember the ones with the round punch out circles around the top edge of the shoe? I NEED someone to remake these shoes!! "Pegged" jeans and a baggy sweater or sweatshirt. I miss you 80s
