I had some of these. I remember thinking it was weird that the design was on the back of the shirt instead of the front.

Walmart is selling Ocean Pacific T-shirts, great models, great design, exactly as old 80s models, the best is the price $9. I have bought some of them. I loved it. Online go to www.op.com

My husband still wears his op shorts from the 80's but definitely needs new ones. However, he is a little short and doesn't like the longer shorts of today! Can I still order the shorter shorts for him?

Had some OP t-shirts back in the 80's and loved them!! Was a blast from the past when I seen them in Wal-Mart!! Just wish they had adult men/women sizes instead of juniors. Us 40-somethings still want to wear it too!!!

These were the best. The quality of the shirts in the 80's were fantastic. Heavier cotton and so they lasted through a billion washes. Unfortunately the surf shirts today are thin and wimpy. Some posters noted that Walmart sells them nowadays. They are not like the 80's as the patterns there are not at all similar to the floral/surf scene prints from the 80's. It is my hope that OP will get back into producing those since they were truly beautiful. Yes, OP t-shirts from the 80's rocked. I wish I had bought 30 extra pair back then and packaged them away for today. They were all I wore back then and they'd be all I would wear today if I could get them again.

I just found 2 tees at a thrift store but I think they might be from the 35 th anniversary as the design is on the front, the fabric seems thinner and there is no fabric label just the size info ink stamped on the back of the neck area. Cool surfing designs though. One says surfing championships 72 Ca Huntington with a big OP and a surfer in the O. The other one is silk screen palm trees with a lone surfer in the corner with a snal OP near the surfer. Does anyone know about these styles that came out?

The best shirt I ever had was an Ocean Pacific shirt from the late 80s. It had a T-Shirt type collar. It was white and had 3 working buttons on the front, and the OP logo. The back had a great graphic of Australia. I wish I could find that shirt again. I'd buy ten of them.

In the 80's, my siblings and I wore nothing but OP clothes. Of course like everything fads come and go. We got rid of our OP clothes and our dad always said to hold onto them because they will come back in style. We did not listen to him and now here we are 20 some years later, my children and neices and nephews are so into wearing OP clothes,so the joke in our family is when a fad comes and goes we say... " don't get rid of it, it's OP"

I wear two surf-shorts of OP. Both of them were blue, one with the "outlaw frog" and a muscle man. I met this site while looking for the frog-short. I didn´t find it...

I worked at K-G Men's Store from 1978 to 1981. Anytime we got a shipment of OP T shirts we snapped them up. I probably had a dozen of them. They really need to reissue the old designs.

These t-shirts and a pair of 501's or corduroy shorts were my uniform in high school and college back in the 80's. All the boys wore them. I loved these t-shirts and had a lot of them. They were so soft compared to the t-shirts today, and I liked the higher, better-fitting neckbands. Those crap Gildan brand t-shirts everyone uses these days feel like sandpaper by comparison, and the neckbands are too small, the neck opening is too wide, and they never sit right. Miss those old tees. Every once in a while, a nice one will show up on Ebay.

Either spring of 82" or was it 83" when I first seen the OP while shopping in stores when I came across the Op t-shirts I bought 3 or 4 remembering one in particular. It was my favorite one I remember visually well even thou I only wore it one time only cos it got stolen like one week after I bought them. They where all gone! Anyways this shirt was all white and on the back was 4 photos printed as "postcards" of photos designs with the sayings "Gretings from Fiji" or "Greetings from Hawaii" written in cursive letters across the top of each photo like they where already mailed with the stamp on them. Anyone ever heard of or seen this one I love to buy it whatever the cost is now days.

I have an original OP long sleeve T-shirt hoodie and sweatshirt from the 80s. The new ones today are terrible looking---faded prints, and very thin fabric. Not at all as well made and colorful as those made in the 80s. I saw some at Wally World (Walmart) and was disappointed.
